Grants available for SMEs' digital projects

Digital project grantsWe know the current climate has caused a lot of uncertainty for many businesses. However, some businesses could be eligible for a grant to part-fund some digital marketing, a website upgrade or even to help design a brand new website.

With a massive shift towards e-commerce and more marketing budget being spent on digital platforms, this grant is the perfect opportunity to help a business improve their digital presence. With more people heading online to buy products and discover information, ensuring you have a digital-first approach can not only help you increase the number of enquiries or sales you receive through your website but can also help you stay ahead of your competition.

There are generally various pots of funding available at any one time, and we try to keep our eyes on these so that if any of our clients are interested in carrying out major projects, we can try and help them to get some money towards it.

The one we’re currently look at is through NBV and you can find more information regarding them here>>https://nbv.co.uk/

It is for SMEs currently trading that are selling B2B and based in either Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire or Nottinghamshire.

Although there is no guarantee of funding, we can help guide anyone who is interested in applying.

The NBV grants available range from between £1,000 and £2,500. This is for a maximum of 25% of eligible costs. Therefore, in order to access the business grant, the minimum project spend will be £4,000.

For example, if you spend at least £4,000 on a project, doing so could get you £1,000 back. Spend £5,000 and you could get £1,250 back. If you spend £10,000 or more then you could get £2,500 back, which is the grant maximum.

Businesses would need to pay for the project first before receiving the grant, so it is vital you have the funds in place to initially cover this. It is also important to note that no retrospective applications will be considered.

With industries changing rapidly, spending time focusing on getting your business more digital is a priority for many. Although budgets have inevitably been tightened for many during this difficult time, it is important to know that there are grants out there that can potentially help you.
